At Sip & Savour, based in Macclesfield, we started out wanting to make wine-tasting something everyone could enjoy, not just the experts. Our journey has been shaped by years working with vineyards and wine companies and at countless local events, building up fifteen years of experience. We love connecting with people over great food and drink, so we keep things friendly and informal, whether you fancy a themed night in, private wine tasting sessions, or a show-stopping corporate event.
Every session is crafted to help you discover new favourites and enjoy yourself in good company. Backed by WSET Wine Levels 1, 2 and 3 qualifications, WSET Spirits Level 2, a BA in Home Economics, a Food Hygiene Certificate and a Personal Licence to Sell Alcohol, we bring professional knowledge and expertise to every event while keeping the experience relaxed, engaging and enjoyable.

We ordered the Greek platter for four people and it was delicious. There was a good variety of Greek food and the presentation was amazing. I will be ordering again for any event we may have and I thoroughly recommend.

Emily Wilson – wine expert
Emily began her career with a degree in food before running a successful tea room, where she developed a passion for hospitality and customer experiences. Her journey into the world of wine led to roles with Laithwaites and as a vineyard guide, where she gained valuable industry knowledge and hands-on experience. In 2022, Emily opened her own wine bar in Macclesfield, further expanding her expertise and deepening her appreciation for quality wines and food pairings. Today, she shares her knowledge through private wine tasting events and bespoke food pairing experiences, helping guests discover new wines in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.
